House Vaughan

This is a medium to large residential building, built and designed with large opening spaces and easy flow in mind. This provided high roof and ceiling heights, a living area with a roof suspended on columns to allow for top lights below roof level, bringing natural light into the surrounding area and enlarging the internal space of the home.

This house was also built on a sloped area, calling for a large retaining wall supporting both the slope terrain and the upper floor of the house. The house is built in a nature estate with wildlife and there was allowed for big window and door openings, bringing the surrounding natural environment into the home. These large openings presented a challenging structure to be built with keen attention to detail.
